- making sure no one is turned away for lack of money, through pro bono lawyers, sponsored legal credits and, in Sierra Leone, our free Transactional Law Clinic.
A message from our CEO
For too many people across Africa, the law feels far away. It is in offices they cannot reach, in words they do not understand, and at prices they cannot pay. As a lawyer, I have seen what that costs — families losing land they have lived on for generations, workers leaving wages unpaid, small businesses signing agreements that later ruin them, and communities facing powerful interests without anyone standing beside them.
I built MiLAWYER because nearly everyone now has a phone, and a phone can be a door to justice. On MiLAWYER you can describe your problem in your own language, see verified lawyers and their prices, speak to one the same day, and keep every step of your case in one place. If you cannot pay, we will do our best to find a lawyer who will help you anyway.
