Letters and forms
For common problems: answer a few plain questions and Tima drafts your letter, and explains your rights from the laws of Sierra Leone in the library. You check it, change anything, and send it yourself. You can ask a verified lawyer to check it first, free.

Ask an employer for unpaid wagesA letter asking your employer (or former employer) to pay wages or other money you are owed for your work.
Complain about the police or a rights violationA clear written complaint to the Human Rights Commission of Sierra Leone, the Independent Police Complaints Board or a senior police officer.
A family member is held by the policeA letter to the police asking why a person is held, for access to a lawyer and family, and for bail or to be charged or released within the time the law allows.
Write down what happened (violence at home)A clear written account to take to the Family Support Unit, a lawyer or the court, and what a protection order is.
Legal information, not legal advice. Tima only explains the law it finds in the MiLAWYER library, and says so when it can't find it. For anything urgent, serious or going to court, speak to a lawyer or apply for free legal help.
