Section 471, The Companies Act, 2009

(1) An affidavit required to be sworn under or for thepurposes of this Part may be sworn in Sierra Leone or elsewhere in accordance with the Statutory Declarations Act, 1835 or under any enactment providing for the making of an affidavit. (2) All courts, judges, justices, commissioners and persons acting judicially in Sierra Leone shall take judicial notice of the seal or stamp or signature, as the case may be, of such court, judge, person, consul or vice-consul attached, appended or subscribed to such an affidavit, or to any other document to be used for the purposes of this Part.
