Section 31, The Crown Lands Ordinance, 1960

In any action, suit or proceedings against any person foror in respect of any alleged unlawful occupation use of, or trespass upon any Crown land, the proof that the occupation or use in question was authorized shall lie on the defendant, and in every such action, suit or proceedings and in every action by or against the Government in which title to land shall be in issue the averment that any land is Crown land shall be sufficient without proof of such fact, unless the defendant prove the contrary.
