Section 47 (2), An Act to amend the Crown Lands Ordinance, 1960

In open country, at every boundary pillar, a trench or lockspit six feetlong and one foot deep shall be dug on each side of and not nearer than three feet from, the pillar in the direction of the line, or where this is impossible, owing to the presence of rock, a line of stones six feet long shall be placed to indicate the direction.
