Section 5, LOCAL COURTS AСT, 1963

The Minister or any person or body authorized by him in that behalf may dismiss or suspend any member of a Local Court or Group Local Appeal Court who shall appear to have abused his power or to be unworthy or incapable of exercising the same justly, or for other sufficient reason. On such dismissal or for the period of his suspension the member shall be disqualified from exercising any powers of jurisdiction unless and until he is expressly re-instated by the Minister or a person or body authorized by him in that behalf.
