Section 102: Procedure on plea of not guilty.

(1) If the accused or the defendant does not admit the truth of the charge or the Court refuses to accept a plea ofguilty, the Court shall proceed to hear the prosecutor and his witnesses and other evidence, if any. (2) The accused or defendant may put questions to each witness produced against him, and the answer of the witness thereto shall be part of his evidence. (3) If the defence does not employ counsel, the Court shall, at the close of the examination of each witness for the prosecution, ask the accused or the defendant whether he wishes to put any questions to that witness.
