Section 215, THE CRIMINAL PROCEDURE ACTS, 1965

If a woman convicted of an offence punishable with death be alleged to be pregnant, the Court shall enquire intothe fact; and if there be reasonable cause for believing it, the sentence to be passed on her shall be a sentence of imprisonment for life instead of sentence of death. Death sentence not to be passed on persons under eighteen years of age.
