Section 77, THE CRIMINAL PROCEDURE ACTS, 1965

If a person is confined in a mental hospital under the provisions of section 71 and the medical superintendent ofsuch hospital certifies that, in his opinion, the accused is capable of making his defence, such accused shall be taken before the court at such time as the court appoints, to be dealt with according to law, and the certificate of such medical superintendent shall be receivable in evidence. Trial not to be continued in certain cases.
