Section 10, The Audit Service Act, 1998

(1) The Auditor-General shall be assisted in the performance of his functions by four Deputy Auditors-General. (2) When the office of the Auditor-General is vacant or the holder of the office is, for any reason, unable to perform the functions of his office, the President may, after consultation with the Board, appoint one of the Deputy Auditors-General to act as Auditor-General.
