Section 18, The Audit Service Act, 2014

There shall be appointed by the Board, acting on the adviceof the Auditor-General, on such terms and conditions as the Board may determine – (a) such number of Deputies as he may deem necessary to assist the Auditor-General in the performance of his functions; and (b) such other staff of the Audit Service as may be required for the effective discharge of its functions under this Act.
