(1) An Independent external auditor appointed by the Auditor-General under this Act shall be deemed to have the same
authority as the Auditor- General or staff of the Audit Service in
respect of the authority to access to information; to request the
production of documents, inspection of bank accounts and disclosure
of relevant information.
(2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), the enforcement of
the powers of the Auditor-General or the Audit Service shall remain
with the Auditor General.
