Section 47, Local Courts Act, 1963

Any person charged in accordance with this Act or any Rules made hereunder with the duty of recording the proceedings of a Court, who knowingly makes a false record of such proceedings shall be guilty of an offence and be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding twenty-five pounds or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months.
