Section 26, The Environment Protection Agency Act, 2022

(1) On receipt of an application under section 25, the Agency shall, within 14 days, decide whether a licence is required for a project. (2) The Agency shall, in deciding whether a licence is required in respect of a project, take into consideration matters set out in the Second Schedule. (3) Where a decision has been taken that a licence is not required in respect of a project, the Executive Chairman shall, inform the applicant in writing.
