Section 42, The Environment Protection Agency Act, 2022

(1) A person who wishes to import or export a controlledsubstance or controlled product shall apply in writing to the Agency for apermit, in the manner set out, respectively, in forms A and B of the Fifth Schedule. (2) An application for a permit under subsection (1), shall be signed- (a) in the case of a body corporate, by a Director or Secretary or such other officer or person authorised to do so; and (b) in any other case, by the person making the application or by a person authorised to act on behalf of that person.
