Section 38 of the National Disaster Management Act 2020is amended by inserting the following new subsections (3), (4) and
(5) immediately after subsection (2)
(3) The minister responsible for finance shall establish
and manage a special emergency account to be known
as the Disaster Management Account to provide
funding for disasters and the implementation of
disaster management for any emergency response and
emergency response operation for disaster affected
persons.
