Section 5, The National Communications Authority Act, 2022

A person shall not be appointed as a member of the Boardif that person – (a) is a member of Parliament; (b) is a mayor, chairman or councillor of a local council; (c) is a minister or deputy minister; (d) has any interest in an information and communications technology enterprise; Disqualification of Board members. (10) The Board shall cause minutes of all its meetings to be taken and signed by the Chairman and Secretary to the Board and kept in a proper form. (11) Subject to this Act the Board shall regulate its own proceedings.
