Section 16, The Public Elections Act, 2022

(1) A person shall, subject to section 17, be eligible toregister as a voter in a ward and to vote at an election in that ward, if he - (a) is a citizen of Sierra Leone; (b) has attained the age of 18 years; (c) will attain the age of 18 years on the date of the next election; (d) is resident in a ward. (2) The residence of a person under paragraph (d) of subsection (1), shall be determined by reference to - (a) the facts of the case; and (b) the rules contained in the First Schedule.
