Section 24, The Public Elections Act, 2022

(1) A Registration Officer may, in satisfying himself thata person is entitled to be registered as a voter, request from the person, any of the following - (a) a birth certificate or a naturalisation certificate; (b) a statutory declaration giving particulars of his birth; 14 15 Period for of voters, etc. Voter to be registered once only.
