Section 52, The Public Elections Act, 2022

The National Returning Officer shall, after declaring theresult of a presidential election - (a) subject to paragraph (e) and (f) of subsection (2) of section 42 of the Constitution, issue to the successful candidate a certificate of election in the form prescribed in Form B in the Fifth Schedule; and (b) as soon as possible, cause the result of the election to be published by notice in the Gazette and in any other manner that he may think fit.
