Section 57: On the date for the general election of Members of

Parliament, other than Paramount Chief Members of Parliament, under section 56, the Electoral Commission shall, by notice published in the Gazette, require that nominations of candidates be delivered to the Electoral Commission or the Returning Officer designated by the Commission before 4 O'clock in the afternoon, which shall not be more than 60 and not less than 30 days before the first Saturday of November, after the expiration of the tenure of Members of Parliament.
