Section 105, The Insurance Act, 2016

Nothing in this Act shall apply to any Trade Union registeredunder the Trade Unions Act and such Friendly Societies registered
under the Friendly Societies Act, as may be exempted from all or any
of the provisions of this Act, by an order in writing by the
Commissioner on an application made to him on his behalf.
