Section 90, The Insurance Act, 2016

Any person who, in any return, report, certificate, balancesheet or other document required by or for the purposes of any of the provisions of this Act knowingly makes a statement which is false in any material particular, commits an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding ten million leones or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or both
