Section 42, The National Youth Service Act, 2016

(1) There is hereby established an Appeals Panel for thepurpose of hearing appeals against decisions of the Service made under this Act. (2) The Appeals Panel shall consist of the following members– (a) the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry; (b) a representative of the Ministry responsible for Education not below the level of Deputy Secretary; (c) a representative of the ministry responsible for Labour not below the level of Assistant Commissioner; (d) a representative of the office of Ombudsman; and (e) a representative of the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice .
