Section 72, The Petroleum Regulatory Agency Act, 2014

(1) No person shall adulterate or hoard petroleum. (2) A person adulterates or hoards petroleum if - (a) he mixes it with a contaminant; but a trader may be exonerated if he proves that the petroleum was adulterated after he had supplied it to the dealer; (b) having a stock of petroleum, he refuses to supply or sell on any pretext which is false.
