Section 24, The Public Financial Management Act, 2016

(1) The Minister may require a budgetary agency tosubmit to him a policy costing in respect of a new policy or significant change in an existing policy or otherwise involving expenditures from the Estimates or other funds, proposed by the budgetary agency prior to approval of such policy. (2) The Minister may prescribe methodologies, procedures, and any other matters necessary for implementation of subsection (1).
