Section 1, The Cargo (Clearing and Forwarding) (Amendment) Act, 1981 [Margin: Short title.]

Subsection (1) of section 2 of the Cargo (Clearing and Forwarding) Act, 1974 (hereinafter referred to as the "principal Act") is hereby repealed and replaced by the following new subsection— [Margin: Amendment of Section 2 of Act No. 5 of 1974.] 8 — No. 4 *Cargo (Clearing and Forwarding) (Amendment)* 1981 [Margin: "Licence required for clearing and forwarding cargo in port.] 2(1) Subject to the provisions of section 13, no person shall clear or forward air or sea freight cargo in any port in Sierra Leone unless he is in possession of a valid licence issued, in writing for the purpose, by the Minister on the recommendation of the Board.".
