Section 38, The Persons With Disability Act, 2011

(1) Every television station shall provide a sign languageinset or sub-titles in all newscasts and educational programmes, and in all programmes covering events of national significance. (2) All persons providing public telephone services shall as far as possible, install and maintain telephone devices or units for persons with hearing disability and tactile marks on telephone sets to enable persons with visual disability to communicate through the telephone system.
