Section 4, The Persons With Disability Act, 2011

(1) The Chairman and other members of the Commissionexcept representatives referred to in paragraph (b) of section 3 and the Executive Secretary shall hold office for a term of three years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for another term only. (2) A person shall cease to be a member of the Commission if- (a) the member’s term expires; (b) the member resigns by written notice addressed to the Minister; (c) the member fails to attend three consecutive meetings of the Commission without reasonable cause; (d) the member dies or is physically or mentally incapacitated as to be unable to perform the functions of his office; (e) the member becomes bankrupt or insolvent; or (f) the member is convicted of an offence involving fraud or dishonesty.
