Section 2, The Pensions (Amendment) Act, Short title (1964)

Scction & of the Pensions Act is hercby amended by tlhcrenumbering oftheexisting scctionassubscction () and the additionthereto of the following ncw subscctions- (2) The power to remove an officer from lis office, to diseharge clicicntlythe duties thercof shall be vested in the otherws deal with such officer, on the ground of his inability Public Sece Commission, which power shall be exercised in acordane withtherules contained inthe Third Schedule. (3) The Public Service Commission. with the prior aappioval of thec Ministerto whomthe responsibilityfor the public service is for the time beingassigncd, may, by Public Notice published in the Gazette, amend, vary, add to or revoke any of the rules contained in the Third Schedule. (4) For the purposes of tlhis section and the rules containod in the Third Schedule the expression the public service : shall b:ar the meaning assigned to it in subsection (1) of section 107 of the Constitution.".
