Section 1, The Police Act, 1964

This Act may be cited as the Police Act, 1964, and shall be deemed to be a consolidation and re-enactment of the Police Act so that any provisions hereof already in operation prior to the commencement of this Act shall be deemed to have taken effect on and from the date upon which they originally came into operation.
