Section 18: The Opposition Whip shall be responsible for -

(a) ensuring that members of his party attend
and vote in Parliament;
(b) assisting the chief whip in maintaining
discipline in Parliament and ensuring that a
quorum is obtained;
(c) providing advice and support for his party
members; and
(d) ensuring that his party decisions are carried
out.
