(l) The Chainnan shall hold office for atermof3 yearsand shall be eligible for re-appointment for a firther term of3 years only. Tenure of ,1€mborc. (2) A person shal) cease to bc a member ofthe Board on any of the following grounds- (a) inabiliry to perform the fi.mctions ofhis office by reason ofinfirmity ofmind or body (b) fbr proven rnisconduct; (c) if he becornes bankrupt or insolvent; (d) if he is convicted and sentenced for an offence involving taud or dishonesty; (e) irh.e fails to attend 3 consecutive meetiogs ol rhe Clouncil without reasonable cause; (D ii he resigns his ofrce by written notice to the N,Iinister.
