Section 16, The Universities Act, 2005

(1) There shall be a Pro Vice-Chancellor who shall beappointed by the Court from among the Deputy Vice-Chancellors of
the University.
(2) The Pro Vice-Chancellor shall hold office for two years
and shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further term of two years
only.
