(1) Subject to subsection (2), nothing in this Act shallpreclude any fire authority from using water for the purpose of the
prevention or control of fire, from any pipe, public fountain or
waterworks.
(2) Without prejudice to subsection (1), no fire authority
shall use water for the purpose of testing fire-fighting equipment or
any other purpose except with the written consent of the Company,
which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld.
(3) No charge shall be made for water supplied by the
Company under subsection (1).
