Section 45, the Local Government Act, 2004, exercising authority

(1) The Company may, for the purpose of performing itsfunctions and meeting its obligations under this Act, borrow money or raise capital in any currency and from any source with the approval of the Minister responsible for Finance . (2) The Company may charge its assets, undertakings and revenues for the repayment of any money borrowed together with interest thereon, and may issue bonds or other securities in order to secure repayment of any money so borrowed.
