Section 49, the Local Government Act, 2004, exercising authority

Any person who, without the consent of the Company orcontrary to any Regulation made under this Act, alters or causes to be altered any pipe or apparatus through which water is supplied by the Company to any premises within the limits of supply commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding 5,000,000.00 Leones or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding one 1 or to both the fine and imprisonment.
