Section 10, The Truth and Reconciliation Commission Act 2000

(1) To assist it in the performance of its functions, the Commission may appointsuch committees as it may consider necessary. (2) A committee under this section shall include persons who are not members of the Commission but who are appointed, taking into account gender representation and regional participation in the work of the Commission. (3) A member of a committee who is not a member of the Commission shall be paid such allowances as the Commission may determine.
