Section 13, The Arms and Ammunition Act, 2012

The Registrar may, in his discretion, revoke any small armand light weapon licence granted to an applicant under section 11 if– (a) the small arm and light weapon licencee is convicted of an offence under this Act; (b) he is satisfied that the small arm and light weapon licencee is of intemperate habits or unsound mind or is otherwise unfit to be entrusted with such small arm or light weapon in the licence; or (c) the small arm and light weapon licencee is convicted of any crime of violence to the person or under investigation for any domestic violence related offence.
