Section 21, The Arms and Ammunition Act, 2012

(1) All persons including companies incorporated in Sierra Leone, financial agents and transportation agents that are engaged in the brokering of small arms and light weapons shall register their operations with the Registrar. (2) All registered small arms and light weapons brokering companies and agents shall obtain a licence for each individual transaction in which they are involved irrespective of where the arrangements take place. (3) All registered small arms and light weapons brokering companies and agents shall provide full disclosure or relevant import or export licences or associated documents, the names and locations of all brokering and shipping agents involved in the transaction and the transit routes and points of shipments.
