(1) The Board shall monitor and evaluate the quality oflegal representation in legal aid cases in accordance with the prescribed procedures. 14 15 Emergency legal representation. No. 6 The Legal Aid Act 2012No. 6 The Legal Aid Act 201216 17 (2) Where the results of monitoring and evaluation conducted under subsection (1) indicate that a legal aid practitioner or pupil barrister has been guilty of unprofessional conduct the Board shall refer the information to the General Legal Council for appropriate disciplinary action.
