Section 47, The Patents and Industrial Design Act, 2012

(1) The Registrar shall process international applications inaccordance with the Patent Cooperation Treaty, the Regulations and administrative instructions made under it and with this Act. (2) In the event of conflict, the Patent Cooperation Treaty, the Regulation and the Administrative instructions made under the Treaty shall prevail over the provisions of this Act. (3) Regulations may be made under this section to provide for the payment of fees, time limits, prescribed languages and other requirements relating to international applications.
