Section 61, The Patents and Industrial Design Act, 2012

(1) A licence contract concerning a patent granted or aregistered industrial design, or an application for it, shall be submitted to the Registrar who shall keep its contents confidential but shall record it and publish a reference to it. (2) The licence contract shall have no effect against third parties until the recording is effected.
