Section 2, The Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection Act, 2012

This Act shall apply to every source of ionizing radiationabove the exemption level other than- (i) radioactive substances found in nature; and (ii) sealed sources or any apparatus or devices containing a sealed source where the dose rate at 10 cm from the source does not exceed 1 micro sivert per hour and the source activity does not exceed the exemption level. 8 9 Application of Act.
