DECREE Supplement to the Sierra Leone Gazette Extraordinary Vol. CXXV, No. 46 dated 26th September, 1994. [Coat of Arms] N.P.R.C. Decree No. 13 1994 Sierra Leone The National Provisional Ruling Council (Appropriation) Decree, 1994 [Margin: Short title.] Being a Decree to provide for the service of Sierra Leone for the year 1994 to 1995 [1st July, 1994] [Margin: Date of Commencement.] WHEREAS it is necessary to make provision for the service of Sierra Leone for the year 1994 to 1995. NOW, THEREFORE, PURSUANT to paragraph 3 of the Proclamation entitled "The Administration of Sierra Leone National Provisional Ruling Council Proclamation, 1992", published in the Gazette on the 4th day of May, 1992, the National Provisional Ruling Council hereby 2 No. 13 1994/1995 Appropriation Decree 1994 makes and issues the following Decree:— [Margin: Commencement.]

This Decree shall be deemed to have come into operation onthe 1st day of July, 1994. [Margin: Le128,928,004,000 granted for 1994/95.]

Hundred and Twenty-Eight Million and Four Thousand Leones shall be and is hereby granted to the National Provisional Ruling Council for and during the year 1994 to 1995 and which sum shall be applied and expended in the manner described and for the several services set forth in the Schedule. [Margin: Le128,928,004,000 charged on the Revenue.]

Hundred and Twenty-Eight Million and Four Thousand Leones shall be and is hereby declared to be charged upon and made payable from and out of the Consolidated Fund for the year 1994 to 1995 and the payment thereof shall be taken to begin and commence on and immediately after the first day of July, 1994. [Margin: Accountant-General's authority for payment.]

The Accountant-General is hereby authorised and requiredfrom time to time upon the Warrant or Order of the Secretary of State for Finance to pay out of the Consolidated Fund for the several services specified in the Schedule the sum of One Hundred and Twenty-Eight Billion, Nine Hundred and Twenty-Eight Million and Four Thousand Leones which shall come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, 1995. [Margin: Excess of Expenditure.]

The amount from time to time paid for and in respect of theexpenditure authorised in section 2 shall not exceed in the gross the sum of One Hundred and Twenty-Eight Billion, Nine Hundred and Twenty- Eight Million and Four Thousand Leones from the first day of July, 1994 inclusive and any balances remaining unissued at the end of June, 1995 shall lapse and not be available for making payments in the following year.
