DECREE Supplement to the Sierra Leone Gazette Vol. CXXV, No. 8 dated 10th February, 1994 N.P.R.C. Decree No. 3 [Coat of arms of Sierra Leone: UNITY FREEDOM JUSTICE] 1994 Sierra Leone The Advisory Council (Establishment) (Amendment) (No. 2) Decree, 1994 [Margin: Short title.] Being a Decree to amend the Advisory Council (Establishment) Decree, 1992 [10th September, 1992] [Margin: Date of Commencement.] PURSUANT to paragraph 3 of the Proclamation entitled "The Administration of Sierra Leone (National Provisional Ruling Council) Proclamation, 1992", the National Provisional Ruling Council makes and issues the following Decree—

2 No. 3 The Advisory Council (Establisment) (Amendment) (No. 2) Decree 1994 [Margin: Amendment of Section 2 of Decree No. 7 of 1992.]

Section 2 of the Advisory Council (Establishment) Decree, 1992, is amended by deleting paragraphs (b) and (c) and substituting therefore the following new paragraphs— "(b) to formulate proposals for a draft Constitution for Sierra Leone, invite and ascertain the views and comments of the general public including professional and other bodies and associations in respect thereof, and after taking into consideration the views and comments so received to submit the draft to the National Provisional Ruling Council; (c) to make recommendations to the National Provisional Ruling Council on any other issue of national importance; and (d) such other functions as the National Provisional Ruling Council may from time to time specify in writing."
