Section 27, The Criminal Procedure Act, 2024

Where a warrant of arrest is executed outside the locallimits of the jurisdiction of the Court issuing the warrant, the person arrested shall, unless the Court which issued the warrant is within 20 miles of the place of arrest or is nearer than the Court within whose jurisdiction the arrest was made, be taken before the last-mentioned Court which shall deal with him in the same way as if brought before it under section 35.
