A person convicted or acquitted of an act causingconsequences, which together with such act constitute a different offence from that for which such person was convicted or acquitted, may afterwards be tried for the last-mentioned offence, if the consequences had not happened at the time when he was acquitted or convicted. 24 25 Attorney- General and Minister of Justice may enter nolle prosequi.
