Section 98, The Criminal Procedure Act, 2024

(1) Redacted and un-redacted statements shall be servedon the defence by the prosecution within 8 days of the initial appearance of the defendant, or, for such period, not exceeding 3 days at any one time, as the Court may determine, after the initial appearance of the defendant. (2) Where a defendant intends to raise the defence of alibi, he shall give notice of it to the prosecution within 14 days after receipt of an un-redacted statement under subsection (1).
