Section 23: Penalty for breach of restriction order.

(1) Any person on whom a notice has been served in accordance with subsection (1) of section 22 shall be guiltyof an offence if he disposes of or otherwise deals with any such property without the written consent of the Commission. (2) Any person convicted of an offence under this section shall be sentenced to a fine not exceeding thirty million leones or a term of imprisonment not exceeding five years or to both such fine and imprisonment.
